Local Photographer Captures Vagina Monologues

May 22, 2011 By Joan Hester 3 Comments

Whole cast

Last month’s performance of “The Vagina Monologues” at Knuckleheads was a huge success. We performed to a full house both Friday and Saturday nights and raised over $4,000 for Laura’s House. What an amazing experience!

Alan Sechrest, a friend and fellow hiker, attended Friday night. A local of San Clemente for 17 years, Alan is an exceptional photographer. On Friday he brought his camera and worked his magic. He was able to convey the feeling of the performance with each image. Notice how he captured the facial expressions of each beautiful performer.

About Joan Hester

During weekdays, I am Director of Admission at an independent school in Los Angeles. On the weekends, I like to explore LA with Jeff. I've thru-hiked the John Muir Trail, summited all the tallest peaks in Southern California, and I'm searching for the perfect, fat-free, calorie-free chocolate croissant.

It was a real treat to attend the Vagina Monologues right here in San Clemente, and you captured the performance beautifully.
